FSLSO Notice Regarding Insurers Being Out of Compliance
Update August 14, 2025, Markel International Insurance Company Limited (NAIC # AA1121425) is now in compliance and will remain active in SLIP+.
Update August 13, 2025, Markel Insurance S.E. (NAIC # AA1340044) is now in compliance and will remain active in SLIP+.
August 1, 2025, Florida’s Surplus Lines Service Office (FSLSO) issued a notice regarding the following surplus lines insurers being out of compliance.
- Markel Insurance S.E. (NAIC # AA1340044)
- Markel International Insurance Company Limited (NAIC # AA1121425)
FSLSO will be removing these carriers from its filing platform on August 15, 2025, if the filing requirement is not met. Please see the attachment for more information.
